The benefits of an online GP for students.
A new GP in your student town? No problem!

Rosalie Dohmen
Your final exams are coming, you are going to register for a study, look for a room in your new student city and your life will take a new turn in the near future. Exciting, but secretly also quite stressful. When moving to a new city there are a lot of things to take into account. Of course, you mainly think about the furnishings of your room and which (sports) club you should join, but what many students forget is arranging a doctor in the city where you will live. Your parents' GP is of course familiar, but it can be quite a challenge to have to travel back and forth every time for a short question.
To avoid having to miss classes, having to travel back and forth or not going to the doctor because it is a hassle, Cory.Care is a good solution. We are an online (digital first) general practice where you can register without too much effort, without any waiting lists! Are you bothered by something or have a care question? Then you simply send a chat with a photo. Does our GP still think that a physical consultation is necessary, then you can simply visit an affiliated GP practice in your area.
If you, as a student, choose an online GP, you have four additional benefits:
1. Quick and easy contact with the doctor
After registering with Cory.Care you can immediately ask a question in the Cory.Care app. The Cory.Care doctor's assistant responds and the process to answer your care question is initiated as quickly as possible. This way you can even ask a question during your lectures about scabies, STDs or mumps, for example. If the doctor's assistant cannot answer the question herself, an online consultation will be scheduled with the GP.
2. You don't have to miss anything in your student city
An online GP ensures that you no longer have to travel to your parents to see the GP. In addition, an online consultation ensures that you do not have any travel time. If you need a physical appointment, you can often get one near your home. Cory.Care currently works with practices in cities such as Leiden, Utrecht, The Hague, Enschede and Amsterdam.
3. A solution that suits your lifestyle
Students have a busy (social) life and are busy developing themselves in many ways. We live in a world where many services are easily accessible and students make optimal use of this through various apps on their phones. The Cory.Care online general practice fits in perfectly with this.
4. Cory.Care is also available for mental complaints
More and more young people suffer from mental complaints, with all your questions and concerns about your mental health you are always welcome at Cory.Care. You can share them with us in the chat. We always take you seriously and handle your messages with care. So don't linger too long with your questions, send your digital first GP a chat message immediately.
